RAAVAN:The battle between good and evil, begins today
The Most Awaited Mani Ratnam’s films “Raavan” (in Hindi) and “Raavanan” (in Tamil) will come to movie screens.Raavan is opening on 2200 screens worldwide in three languages Hindi,Tamil and Telugu today.
Raavan features Indian superstar Aishwarya Rai and her husband Abhishek Bachchan in Hindi and Tamil superstar Vikram in Tamil version.
The film is a modern version of Ramayana, the story of the god Vishnu, his wife Sita and their years of exile. In Raavan, Beera Munda ,the outlaw played by Abhishek abducts the woman Ragini(Aishwarya), who plays the wife of a police officer Dev (Vikram), a rival of Beera Munda.In both versions, Aishwarya Rai plays the cop’s wife.
It’s the first Indian film to release simultaneously in three languages.
