Amitabh Bachchan.While Sr Bachan got 37,500 followers on his first day of tweeting, Aamir seems to overtake him.


Amir sent his first tweet last night, "Testing: Aamir". In another tweet, he sent “I can see that Germany and Brazil are playing really well, but, I want Argentina to win! ".


Amitabh had persuaded Aamir to join Twitter when they met over a casual dinner in London some time back.Amitabh welcomed him saying, "Thank you Aamir... You give more due than I deserve ...

Do not turn on A/C immediately as soon as you enter Your car! How many of you listen this? What is the relevance of the proverb here? Even though so cold, it is habitual to turn on the A/C while we enter the car .But please give a couple of minutes to give time for the interior air to go out before you enter the car next time. According to studies, the car dashboard, sofa, air freshener emits Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin, poisons your bones, causes anemia, and reduces white blood cells.

Most of us regard the 'new car smell' (odor that comes from the combination of materials found in new automobiles) as a pleasant and desirable smell. The chemicals in the fumes include toluene and styrene, which can damage the human brain and nervous system and liver. Most of the interior of an automobile consists of plastic held together with a number of adhesives and sealers. When the car is first manufactured, these materials are left slightly unstable, and continue to release volatile organic compounds into the air afterward.

According to researches, acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with the windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene and if parked outdoors at high temperature, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, the people inside the car will inevitably inhale an excess amount of the toxins.

So be careful, especially those who travel all the day in A/C cars. The prolonged exposure will affect your health.

With World Cup 2010 reaching the Quarter Finals, It is time to check ‘Who will win the 2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot?’ What is the Golden Boot award? The award is given to the top goal scorer in each world cup (the most active player who scored the maximum number of goals).

The prestigious award was introduced at the 1930 World Cup and from1995 World Cup held in US, the silver and Bronze boots awards were added to reward the second and third top scorers in the tournament. if there is more than one player with the same number of goals,  the tie-breaker goes to the player who has contributed the most assists (a contribution by a player which helps a teammate to score a goal) and if more than two players, the tie-breaker goes to the player who has played the least amount of time.

In 2010 World Cup, there are so many players with great talent and team spirit who deserves the Golden Boot award. Spain’s David Villa, Gonzalo Higuain of Argentina and Robert Vittek of Slovakia are on the top of the list with four goals.  But Slovakia has been ousted from the tournament, so Vitte’s chance for the award is nil. So the main opponents are David Villa ,who scored his fourth goal against Portugal to take his team through to the quarters, and Gonzalo Higuain with a hat trick against South Korea .The list includes Luis Fabiano,of Brazil with3 goals, Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan with 3 goals,Thomas Muller of Germany and Luis Suarez of Uruguay with 3 goals each.

The Golden boot winners in previous world cups includes Brazil ‘s Ronaldo scoring 8 goals in the 2002 world cup for, Fontaine scored 13 goals for France in 1958,Muller scored 10 goals in 1970 for Germany, Rossi scored 6 goals for Italy in 1982, Kocsis scored 11 goals for Hungary in 1954 and Suker scored 6 goals for Croatia in 1998.
